The Story of
Quynh Nhu's Heart Surgery
Abandoned Little Angels continues with our mission to build better lives and brighter futures for disadvantaged children. Our dream is “a healthy life and education for every child.”
Quynh Nhu is a special four-year-old orphaned little girl living at Bong Hue Orphanage. Through your compassion and support, she was well loved and cared for by the nuns and other children whom she considers her family.
With our “Sponsor a Child” program, Quynh Nhu received additional love and financial support from our donor, Mary. Annually, Mary would send Christmas gifts and care packages not only to Quynh Nhu, but also to the other 17 children living at the home.
Recently Quynh Nhu was diagnosed with congenital heart disease and underwent surgery, which could not be possible without your generosity. She is recovering well and soon will continue to study with the other children.
The COVID pandemic proves to be an extremely challenging time for our orphanages and schools in Vietnam. Resources became limited. However, your continued love and care provides children, like Quynh Nhu, an opportunity for a better life and an education.
